Technical problem. One moment.
Unacceptable. Walruses know nothing of these “technicals” of which you speak
no videos?
Sorry ,Pauwl pointed out that I posted the playlist by mistake…fixing it.
Pauwl is like a Walrus that has had Eagle eyes implanted.
Uh oh
In 11th place with 3 points … Prophets of Rage – Unfuck the World (2017)
This band’s ok…Tom Morello is a bad ass and Chuck D is decent, though no Zack de la Rocha. A BIG guitar sound and a good tone. Not very daring though. A bit dull compared to some of Tom’s earlier work. Still, a cool song. I’d listen to more of this. It does pick up and gets slightly more adventurous for 10-20 seconds around 3:00.
Farts
whew, avoided the nodium
Ok so despite my hopes plummeting for a high finish this is a badass category so far and I am also really digging the addition of the youtube comment. Good shit, cassette.
It’s certainly not one of Morello’s more innovative works, but I wanted to showcase something of his outside of Rage and Audioslave, and like the comment said, this is a perfect anthem for 2020, so I had Hope’s it might place a little higher.
It’s a good song. I liked it.
In 10th place with 4 points…Paco De Lucia - Tico Tico (date unknown; olden days for sure)
This is a tough one. The recording isn’t amazing, but it’s serviceable. Gains points for talent. Loses a bit for not having much in terms of an interesting melody. Sometimes I’m really in the mood for pure performance pieces, ala Joe Satriani and the like. But I’m not feeling it all that much today. Unlucky.
argh
guess i should have picked some generic rock song like everyone else.
Ima like your sprinkle of salt, but generic rock - I think not!
Those are good. Going to try to catch up with the thread.
Nero Forte was one I was holding to possible submit to you at some stage, but I also thought you might already be familiar.
