No theyā€™ve been pretty strong for Biden in PA

Right, it tightened. Not a trade Iā€™d make for the PA one tightening too.

Fair point, I thought they tended not to ever give Biden 50 with way more undecideds than usual, but Iā€™ll take any one of those right now.

Canā€™t care about polls now. Nothingā€™s gonna change.

You did what you could. Now itā€™s up to the rest of the country.

Also where the memes at?!

I was cooking up a custom, patience is a virtue!

Iā€™d take that awful Selzer poll with the chance that itā€™s an outlier with a +7 PA result over say a +2 Selzer poll and some scary shit like PA +3. In other words, I feel marginally better than a few hours ago.

Biden + 7 in PA 2 days before the election is fine by me. I get that it would be really nice if we came into this with Biden up like 20 in the polls and up 15 in PA, but in this universe, Biden up by around 7 in the tipping point state is pretty fucking great. Also, and this bears repeating, PA is not Florida. It has a dem governor, a dem Ag, a dem SOS. It is in the Northeast. It went red once in the past 30 years and only just barely. It swung heavy to the blue team in 2018.

That feeling when all the polls are bad and you see 51-44 and your breath catchesā€¦ Fuck. Fuckā€¦ This is bad. If Trump is up 7 weā€™re so soā€¦

And then that Biden hits.

Ahhhhhhh sweet relaxation.

I might legit have a mental health event if we have to sweat PA for all the marbles for a week plus, with court cases pending.

whoops, no national poll. probably tomorrow night at midnight then. Looks like 4 years ago they dropped the final national poll Sunday Night at midnightā€¦

As others point out, these polls are not ideal but less stressing than that Iowa slop.

I really really think that NC is going for Biden. LIke really. I think NC is the new Virginia, itā€™s going to swing blue this election, and then its going to be a swing state next cycle, and then itā€™s just a blue state. I also think that Arizona is going for Biden this cycle and that Arizona is also going to be a blue state. I think weā€™ll know both of those on election night. Iā€™m 50/50 on Florida and Georgia.

Edit: And I also think weā€™re in the mix in Texas. If we werenā€™t, the repubs wouldntā€™ be filing suits down there to toss ballots.

One thing Iā€™ve wondered is if polling take liberals moving south into account. I grew up in NJ. I know at least 10 people that have moved from NJ to places like VA, NC, FL, and TX. Iā€™m sure this is fairly common over the past 10 years or so. I think college educated liberals are much more likely to move from a blue state to a red state.

Retired deplorables from blue states moving to FL offsets the others which is probably why FL always stays so close, but this movement is exactly why Texas is becoming a swing state.

Thatā€™s interestingā€¦ this is like the opposite of what iā€™ve observed. A lot of the people I went to college with in the midwest got out of there.

Red states meaning the south or southwest. Midwest would be the blue states in this example.
