Booked.
I watched some TV today for the first time in weeks. Biden has a pretty good healthcare ad up here in Ohio.
Welp. They’re pretty effectively screening out black votes.

You need to add more context around this tweet. If you add the first one in the thread it shows that nearly all of the mail-in ballots (97%) are being accepted, which is a good thing. The tweet that you posted shows that ballots of black votes are being rejected more often than ballots of white voters, which is a bad thing. But the overall stats aren’t as bleak as that tweet makes it out to be.

USPS sending out voting info postcards to voters should be a good thing! But sending the same info to voters in every state is insane. #LetChaosReign
Griswold said that secretaries of state had asked postmaster general Louis DeJoy to review a draft before election information was sent out to voters to make sure it was accurate, adding that the Trump-allied, former GOP mega-donor refused. “Now millions of postcards with misinformation are printed & being mailed to voters,” Griswold wrote. She added that officials in her state had asked the USPS not to send the postcards but “they flat out refused.”
Looks like he learned his lesson from the first go-round.
Lol just kidding.
Why aren’t I seeing campaign ads about how republicans are blocking critical pandemic relief? It seems like the most obvious thing ever.
“The pandemic is not over. Unemployment is still catastrophically high. Unemployment funds are running out. Business are shuttering, layoffs and evictions are looming. Food banks are overwhelmed. Working families need help now and the economy needs additional stimulus. Democrats are fighting for more help but unbelievably Republicans are demanding less. Send them a message on November 3.”
Because Democrats are horrifically bad at messaging.
um, this is troubling. You know I’ve mentioned the people set up on the sidewalk selling trump crap in my town? Apparently it’s some kind of MLM scheme, at least that’s what I’m gathering from this post in my neighborhood FB group.
Also, kind of promising that she got pushback in Spring Valley, which is also a red area
Those stands being MLM is just chef’s kiss grifting.
There’s a stand on the sidewalk in front of the Shell station as you drive into La Jolla. The Shell station has a big sign saying “We are in no way affiliated with any political vendors”.
I am still confused how they are able to do this without a permit. I know calling the cops would be useless because they’re not going to do shit…but it makes me want to cobble something together and set up near them on the sidewalk and see what happens. Not even Biden stuff. Just a booth selling scented candles or something.
EVERY STREET A FARMERS MARKET!
Or a booth selling [Trump]flag burning supplies, and intervention services for helping people escape cults.
“a child called her a fat whore ”
I believe the children are our are future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
I mean, odds that actually happened are probably about 10% or lower, but still, one can dream…
I am actually really curious and am almost tempted to go start investigating this. Obviously it’s being managed by the same people, I want to get to the bottom of it.
Could be a big story, and I haven’t read anything about it.
Scoop the nyt!
hmm, she’s not there today (I did just go drive by there) and neither are the guys by the gas station in town.
They must move around. I wonder if this is just a San Diego thing or it’s happening elsewhere?
lol I drive by this spot all the time but at 6AM so I’ve never seen the stand and its the first place I thought of when I saw goofyballer’s post about san diego traffic lights a month ago

like what is this hell and how do i escape?!?
lol, the Nimitz/Sunset Cliffs/Point Loma/I-8 nightmare in OB has got to be high on the list of terrible intersections, too.
This is one of the few things LA does better than SD. blah.
The NYT will just write an article interviewing her and presenting her unchallenged assertions as facts, followed by editorializing her Trump support as understandable, nay, justifiable, because of her clear economic anxiety.
