We literally went over to Lizette B’s house to watch MTV because her family had all the channel and her parents didn’t mind us taking over the living room.
(I hung out w the non drinking crowd so it was very tame).

It’s not anyone on the dems side fault that obama is far more popular than all of them and may increase turnout. There certainly are people who don’t know that biden was obama’s VP. I’m jealous of those people btw.

Well, that was a fun exercise illustrating that my books are distributed around the house with no particular rhyme or reason.
The particular Florida county he mentions is Okaloosa County. (He mentions Mahoning County in Ohio in the same breath.)

I’m hopeful that having insane people running the federal government won’t be able to contend again in my lifetime. This Trump thing really does feel like a once in a generation disaster. I’m in a hopeful mood this week. Not about the short term or the medium term… those are both already fucked beyond recognition… but about the eventual stuff over the horizon.

incidentally, due to state budget shortfall in WA state this year, and no income tax per state constitution, number one issue business is bringing up ahead of legislative session is “let’s agree on parameters for carbon tax/credits”. maybe pandemic is going to get that done.
