The AG is not only a democrat, but he’s one of the good ones. I’m not super concerned about this TBH.
Yeah I’m pretty pissed. I think he knows they’re going to lose the case and he’s afraid SCOTUS would make them toss everything or something.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Katherine Harris defy multiple court orders in 2000?
No one should listen to the courts if they do some blatantly illegal shit. Only fair to throw it back at them.
Maybe he’s telling SCOTUS he is segregating ballots before he pulls the LOL fuck you card.
FWIW, I guess he knew people were going bonkers and he tweeted this:

What swing states do we expect to be known on election night? Gotta make sure I have a few beers in there. This is the only SC I can find: Westbrook One Claw Rye Pale Ale. I found this for NC: OSKAR BLUES CAN-O-BLISS CITRUS IPA. Sorry for the caps, copied and pasted.
I could also do Pillsbury Southern Homestyle Biscuits and pimento cheese spread, but I’m afraid @Yuv might track me down cause he seems really into the Bojangles.
That wasn’t normal for me and we both blame each other to this day
I had bonjangles once for food other than biscuits and I hated it. But it is basically blasphemy to say that in NC. Their biscuits are top notch.
Cheerwine is a great alternative if you can find it.
I was only 14, I don’t really remember that much detail.
Bojangles should have cheerwine as a drink option.
Known swing states (assuming not so close as recount) are NC and Florida and Texas. Less certain about GA OH and MI—anyone?
PA WI and AZ will definitely not be known that night
I mean this is obviously over the top for a state not likely to deliver great news, especially on election night, but the correct SC food is:
Wegman’s has Cheerwine according to their website.
Is that like a lowcountry version of a clambake?
Yeah I just saw that. I’m going to snag a 4-pack and lock it in for NC.
Yeah, if he’s segregating, he’s doing it for a good reason, like trying to make sure there isn’t some crazy justification for completely throwing out the PA election result. Again, I think everyone ITT needs to relax about this though. First, it is not at all clear that SCOTUS will do this, and 2 it is not even close to clear that these ballots would even help democrats. I think the D side has gotten really good messaging out that people shouldn’t be mailing this close to election. Anything in the mail right now is likely getting there by November 3rd, it’s still 6 days away. And the absentee requests/percent returned numbers for dems/repubs I posted up thread is further evidence that this is not a “sky is falling” moment.
This is a decent table of what states are doing what at certain times.
I refuse to contribute to the New York Times, any chance you could take a few screens
and if i’m spamming the thread i’ll add that my best meal in the states was at FIG in Charleston, SC. I hope they are voting for Harrison.

Yeah it is a shrimp boil. You just boil shrimp, corn and sausage and potatoes, drain it, then dump it in the middle of the table and let everyone go to town. Absolutely delicious.
We used to do that with crawfish
