Looks like I can do Jai Alai IPA up here for FL, so we’ll have beers in place for FL (Jai Alai IPA), PA (My buddy picked some pumpkin ale), MI (Bells Two Hearted IPA). Cheerwine for NC, grilled peaches for GA, I think my buddy is getting something from a local restaurant for WI - either cheese curds or some kind of sausages or something.
Ohio and Arizona are still up for grabs, although AZ is unlikely to be known on election night unless we win it in a landslide. I guess I could do Nevada… I could do the pimento cheese spread for SC, or I could do some sort of southern cocktail. Perhaps I should add Iowa.
I’m also wondering if we should do a beer for Wisconsin instead of a food, since a lot of the beer may stay on ice and Wisconsin results should be in on election night.
I’m now imagining a mad awkward “celebratory” beer if we win Wisconsin by like 3 on election night or something.
Hey I got married early and then didnt date around really before marriage #2 so my total data set is low, but on at least 4 occasions I got asked the question “what took you so long to get the hint?”.
Officials have said that full unofficial results could take until Nov. 6 . Processing of ballots does not begin until Election Day, or the day before the election in some jurisdictions.

Secretary of the Commonwealth Kathy Boockvar has said that she expects “the overwhelming majority” of votes will be counted by Friday, Nov. 6.

All early voting and previously tabulated mail ballots, which are likely to be relatively stronger for Mr. Biden, should be reported by 8:30 p.m. Eastern. Officials did not make a projection for the timing of full unofficial results, but they were allowed to process early-arriving mail ballots starting weeks before the election.
If KS breaks blue the fever is breaking on the modern GOP. They’d be finished (yes the modern GOP is a virus in this post). We’d be painting the rest of the map blue on the next cycle without huge changes.
They did it in a pretty unsustainable way. They had a choice in 2012 between long term sustainability and winning right fucking now. Donald Trump went in and made the choice for them. This whole timeline would be pretty different if Kasich had been the GOP nominee in 2016.
Ever since their actions have been so flagrant that it felt like a going out of business sale to the donors. These polls make it seem like that might be reality. They’ve been telling us for years that demographics doom the GOP eventually… What if this is the election cycle where it flips never to return?
There is nothing written in stone about American politics. It doesn’t have to be this way, and honestly it’s been pretty awful this last 30-40 years for the median household. New meta maybe?
If what I am starting to suspect is true is true (and the polls are real… seriously this is the scenario still even if we drop every Biden poll by double the HRC polling error), then we’re about to get a lot done very quickly… and plant the inevitable seeds of our own destruction. Because of course we are, that’s what humans do every time they build something new.
I was, for lack of a better word, a man slit. Frequent one night stands and typically at least got to first base on any first date unless she was not what I expected. Never really felt like I had a problem reading the signs. Just didn’t ever see an opportunity with my wife before date four, when I just went for it in public lol.
