I know NYC turnout completely irrelevant, but there was a line probably two avenue blocks long waiting to early vote this morning at the polling place near me. This was at 8:45 and it doesn’t even open until 10.
Btw this is the first year NY has had early voting because LOL CUOMO.

Yeah the local news did a piece on day 1 of early voting last night. Between the 1 minute and 3 minute marks, they talk about the line I waited in.
Do dems ever win run-offs in Georgia? No. I mean, maybe back before the southern strategy, I don’t know. But yeah, I don’t think the dems win the runoffs here.

My wife and I did absentee ballots. I feel OK with that because you can track them and know they are accepted.

My wife voted absentee and got a confirmation that her ballot was accepted. I voted in person because I wanted to be extra sure that my ballot wasn’t just counted but counted before the end of Election Day.

Ehh, would rather we not have so much turnout from the MAGA zone halfway between SAT and ATX.
ETA: I stand corrected. The county went for Trump by only .9 in 2016, with Gary Johnson pulling 5% of the vote.
Biden over Trump 51/29 with independents in that TX pole. 12% of I’s undecided.
Repeat after me: there are a shitload of college educated white women living in the Texas suburbs.
