We have “early in person” voting but it’s just showing up and voting by mail all at once. Get a ballot, fill it out, double envelope it, drop it in a box.
They can’t take them out of the envelopes until 7am on Election Day.
Well if that’s part of what is begin counted on the returned absentees then that is phenomenal.
Is this because masks could be considered political or some shit? Thats the most insane reason.

Yeah voting on Election Day is insane
Vote early. If anything goes wrong on Election Day then it may be too late, while if something goes wrong earlier then there may still be time to fix it.
Plus just the danger during a pandemic of voting during the busiest day of the whole period with the most people, 2 weeks from now when a higher % will be contagious.

Jesus fuck what the hell is wrong with this country. This is so infuriating.
Also, as a first time early voter (drop box for general, mail-in for primary), it is so nice to have my vote in and confirmed received weeks in advance. One less thing to worry about on election day which is going to be such a shit show everywhere.

Ah I see that there isn’t true early voting in PA so I can understand more the desire to do an actual in-person vote rather than absentee.
But man that day is gonna be ridiculous across the country and especially in a top swing state.

I’ve thought about it but my biggest fear is Trump having a 60/40 or 70/30 lead in PA on 11/3 and going full court press at shutting down the count.
I’m quite concerned about intimidation, but I also plan on being there way before they open and being one of the first in.
