It seems that a lot of the people who usually have trouble voting have a much easier time this year.

It definitely surprised me a bit that enthusiasm increase among R’s was about equal to that of D’s.

Don’t remove anything, because democracy, enthusiasm gap in Florida today is actually DEM +22.
In 2016 it was GOP +1.

I continue to worry a ton about cheating.
I continue to stand by my prediction of higher turnout than modeled, which I still think means a bluer map if all votes are counted.

I think one side effect of increased polarization is that many more people on both sides view losing this election in catastrophic terms, so they’re more fired up to vote.

Is he stupid? He could be banking on a rubber band rebound from Trump. He should go for it. What does he have to lose? Either the rebound happens and he rescues the GOP, or the rebound doesn’t happen and he’s in the same spot he’s in now.
Both sides are convinced WAAF if they lose.
