“Please proceed” was when he claimed that Obama didn’t call the Benghazi attack terrorism.
I stated back at the time that I wasn’t all that afraid of a Romney presidency, assuming the Dems had Congress. It was the GOP congresscritters that I was afraid of, and any R president wasn’t going to be much of a check on them.
Yep, Romney playing along w/ hating his own healthcare plan is what had me scared of him. 2020 nicely captures the problem w/ Romney, on the one hand he had the courage to impeach Trump. On the other hand, he has the ideological determination to dubiously push through Amy.
Why is the same guy on the ballot every 2 years?
Blue pens are acceptable according to the Virginia DOE.
? Because he’s the incumbent congressman and congressional elections are every two years?
Oh yeah, he’s a rep not a senator. Not sure how I read that wrong.
Whatever they say on phone, the ballot says blue is ok and if you use green or purple pen they’ll just hand count it if the machine doesn’t pick it up.
They don’t look at colors and toss them; they throw through a machine and it reads them; if it can’t they hand count (well technically they copy over the info to a new ballot using a black pen and push it through the machine again).
Using a blue pen to fill out scantron bubbles is such a fish move. Just use a fucking black pen, jfc. Why even risk it? Even if someone has no idea what the rules are, black pens are always going to have a 100% acceptance rate.
New Morning Consult Poll has Biden +9 nationally. Was +7 September 25-27. He seems to be gaining 2 points on average in most national tracking polls.
The thing that worries me about the first stat is there have been a few stories about how new R voter registrations far outpace new D registrations in a lot of places the last couple of years.
Jill looking out for Biden (and the rest of us)
Forgot this Biden town hall was on. Popped in for a few minutes. The “Biden has advanced dementia and doesn’t know where he is or how to complete a sentence strategy” was pretty, pretty bad in hindsight.
He’s going to crush the town hall format debate.
