I think the NBA Commissioner will be okay with this job action. MLB is a different story. Rob Manfred doesn’t seem like he gets it to the degree that Adam Silver does. Plus, as of now, its just one team (or two if you count Cincy) not playing tonight. What happens tomorrow will be very interesting.

Part of the whole problem is the refusal of the cops to state anything of substance in the aftermath of these shootings. “Well, the investigation is continuing” doesn’t cut it. A lot of things are known and could be told without doing any harm to the “investigation”. With everyone else, they arrest first and ask questions later.
