US pro sports leagues don’t understand the meaning of the word “forfeit”. The game will be rescheduled.

Yea it’s been a common refrain on this board; I wouldn’t say I was expecting it but had it happened I wouldn’t have been surprised. It’s just that now this current environment of protesters vs civilians is making it near-certain and is amplifying just how bad it will be.

The WNBA is in an interesting spot now. They dedicated the season to social justice and have been super heavy on this #SayHerName campaign and whatnot, but they were also supposed to be celebrating Women’s Equality Day today lol. I’m wondering if they’ll announce that games today will go ahead and they’ll cancel games tomorrow.
