There is a Confederate Veterans’ Memorial in Seattle. It was built in the 1920’s. It’s not really about the Confederacy.
This is mostly because despite the loud outcry over this, the majority are also on the police’s side. A lot of protestors will forget about this sooner rather than later and go back to life as a white person unbothered by the police in their everyday lives.
