From my understanding this corporate wing is different from most of the local city BLM chapters

I al trying to help inform some people I care about who don’t live in the US.
This is correct. There’s the original BLM Network (blacklivesmatter.com) of city chapters, then there’s the later various ‘NGO-Complex’ orgs, like above.
So I guess LA is fining curfew breakers who get arrested $1,000. These good folks are helping with bail and fines.
If I was there I would grab a delicious looking , hot pizza and eat it inches from the national guards faces then start sharing it. F they started eating I would get like 30 pieces for them.
Dang. My uncle who’s a state Chamber of Commerce GOP something or another lobbyist in Washington wrote out a long post about how Colin Kapernick was right and was respectful and that we should listen to the greviences the rioters have, don’t pretend racism doesn’t exist, not focus on the rioters, and “come together”. As far as I know he was never big into the culture war stuff but it was still shocking to see it.
