I don’t think these protests are organized to the degree that they could be stopped through negotiation. People will protest if they want to.
Probably should have done that before lazy fucks like myself saw an opening to smash the state.

Something I thought of that kind of concerns me is this started out as a black lives matter protest, focusing on racial discrimination and has evolved instead into a discussion of police brutality in general. I fear the original message is going to get lost in all of this regardless of how things shake out
Instead of just removing that identification; the police weren’t smart enough to say they are honoring george floyd with black ribbons that all covered their identification numbers on their badges. (YOU MISSED THIS ONE ONION HAH)

I can’t disagree enough about this. The best chance we have for change is to get as many people crowding the paint as possible. As much as we might want people to be there for selfless reasons, selfish reasons are better motivators.
The fact that we’re having to demand that black lives should just matter is crazy. The system that makes that a contentious point is probably mortally ill.
