Police Murder George Floyd Then Riot Nationwide (Links to Streams in OP)

I don’t know exactly, FitBit says I burn 2800-3400 most days. I think I just plateaued, I’m back losing weight now. My sleep is awful, just horrific, and it drives me crazy. I have the hardest time falling asleep most nights.

I am getting less protein, but still should be enough - at least 60g a day on bad days, usually more like 100g I think. I don’t get much high intensity cardio, I need to get back to lifting. I drink lots of water (almost always cold), eat lots of spicy food, I drink coffee (often decaf cause of the sleep problem) and lots of iced green tea.

It is like talking to people on 22 p&s, they don’t know anything about anything.

They do know part of their job is oversight of the president right? None of their staff briefed them on the events?

The follow up every time should have been “Are you lying?”

This is apparently LA city council call-in or something.

This is driving me nuts on a daily basis. We all know intellectually how to keep the protests peaceful, and the police forces know it. They could have about 25% as many cops at the protest sites, and the other 75% out preventing looting, and the public would be happy with that right? But what would happen? The protest would win the day on the news, and they can’t have that, so they put 95% at the protest site, provoke them, turn it violent, and then let the looting happen and go after it later. Now the news narrative is “PROTESTS TURN UGLY, LOOTING BEGINS!”

The police get to control how the protest turns out and what the news narrative is, and they do.

They weren’t going to get a conviction, but he needed to be charged to send a message. By the time the trial happened, it wouldn’t matter anymore. Right now the message needs to be sent, and I can’t believe I have to say this: you’re not allowed to drive into crowds of people, even if you reaaaallly don’t like what they’re saying.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Fitbit is way off.

Based on the way that horse is giving someone the sideways stink eye, I assume the police are off to the left here. He knows.

Portland about to go off at the fence

Superior Fence and Construction getting a ton of free ad space here.

oh shit, there are a TON of people in both Portland and Seattle. Portland cops about to deploy something, most likely gas. Seattle does not seem to have issued a move along order yet.

Aftermath:

Yeah this is 100% true. Protesting has always been like this.

I just think when you’re on the wrong end of oppression you understand. As situations become better for groups and they are integrated into mainstream society, the individual members become kinda shitty like everyone else. See: West Hollywood.

Gas deployed and people chased away from the fence in Portland. They have declared this an unlawful assembly.

Seattle seems to have lessened the crowd considerably. The umbrellas are holding, but not a huge line behind them. No force used yet.

Gas deployed in Seattle. People are fleeing.

THE UMBRELLAS ARE HOLDING
