Del Amo mall was all blocked off partially with badly damaged cars and buses. It was like out of Mad Max.
That might be it.
Sure sounds like fireworks.
Oh shit, a line of about 100 more cops just showed up in Seattle
My aunt just posted a picture of a small protest in Cardiff by the Sea, CA. It’s a wealthy (average income $145k), majority white (1% African American population), quiet seaside town.
Yes, it’s CA, but one thing that certainly feels different this time around is how many smaller towns around the nation are speaking up. Towns that wouldnt stereotypically make noise regarding BLM. Am I wrong for holding onto a glimmer of hope that there is finally enough ground swell to enact meaningful change?
Yes.
Cousins
Sure does. But then again I have no idea what a flash bang grenade sounds like.
that’s what the bang is.
That is just elite work by Cousins.
Baldwin’s black power level is over 9k so who are you gonna pull out to top that?

Ok but srsly… maybe, if their argument was equally compelling!
Also, and I feel like there’s an important point buried way underneath here, me linking Baldwin sans comment is like by design literally the opposite of whitesplaining. Take it up with James and don’t kill me, I’m just the messenger.
I would agree and equally for the record, I’m not saying I want more looting, especially if the cops are handing out bricks to throw through windows. I was just sharing some links that share the arguments that some looting is necessary and good.
I agree - total non-violence/non-destruction never gets noticed. But I guess too much could lead us into some kind of nightmare endless martial law scenario.
Paging @Sabo and Spock, but there are always alternatives. Like, strikes, boycotts and shutting down transportation systems
I’ve thought about this dozens of times the past few years.
