reading today that worst that can happen if the mayor has the statue removed in Birmingham is that they can fine the city 25,000 dollars, seems like a no brainer to rip that shit down so hopefully thats whats going to happen tonight/tomorrow.

Some police dude in charge seems to be having a reasonable conversation with protesters in Atlanta.
I wonder if he used the damage to the monument’s base as an excuse to call it unsafe and have it removed.
I know it’s a joke but this really minimizes how bad Obama was regarding police brutality during his term, obviously he’s not this bad but he was bad
