I agree but you canāt bet turn and not shive river. Which is partly why turn bet is bad imo.

i wouldnāt bet, but i could see some leveling idea from the Portugese where it looks like heās preparing a river shove, so foxen is deciding on the turn if sheās committing to the hand. Once she did, he gave up (of course he could hit too).

Given SPR, ICM and the general main event pressure a turn shove is better then his 1/3rd pot bet I think.
