itâs day 1 of the main event. itâs not going to be interesting. i watch so much poker and couldnât bring myself to watch a bunch of old people randoms badly nit it up.
Last night was pretty good except for the 44 vs 66 hand. Lots of bluffs. Tonight is turd city.

Its not so much being scared of them having a much better hand. You are correct that such is unlikely. But, if you raise the river you are only being called by worse if:
Villain thinks you are raising the river as a bluff (this is a very rare occurrence!)
Villain is very bad at poker
