I’m definitely not walking out of the casino if I"m not comfortable.
The only time I ever got an escort, (suggested by the casino rather than asked for) the security guy said he wasn’t allowed to take a tip.
This. I hit a $25k (my share) BBJ at Cascades casino and requested a cheque. The floor guy said, “No, we can’t do that, the accounting dept doesn’t get in til 8am.”

The traveling and playing poker thing is pretty annoying. I’ve stayed in lots of Airbnb’s and hotels without safes and you never really feel at ease. That being said I still carry 10k+ on me all the time and never had any trouble. Except in Australia some drunk Irish guy followed me out of the casino to fight me because I told him to chill out at the cashier when he was yelling at the woman behind the counter. Excessive apologizing did the trick! Pretty scary though cuz he had the crazy eyes going and he was bigger than me.
