Nice…I’m in Cleveland now to catch the visiting Mets. Like other casinos with added promo drops, Jack Casino continues collecting the promo drop even when the only promo is the always running “Royal.”
I tuned in to HCL earlier for some Helmuth tournament. Saw a hand where he was explaining hand strength and betting to the other players. It was fucking stupid.
Pretty crazy to me that the only ladies event at the WSOP this year is a 10K buy in. Isnt one of the goals of the ladies events to make an easier barrier to entry for women into the game?
Its great they have a 10K event, but where the hell is the 1500?
For those who have done online registration, how do credit cards treat the buy in? Are these just standard CC transactions or are they considered cash advance?
Couldnt find the other thread and this is a no content brag thread anyway. Just folded KK preflop for the first time in my life and was correct :)
1/2 6 handed live £800 effective
I (covers) open £8 with Ks Kc
Kid (£800) playing deeper than he is comfortable who is playing pretty snug (imo)
3 bets to 30
with shaky hands
Somewhat loose player cold 4! To 85
Me already sus thinks for a while and flats
Kid 5! to 300
Loose guy ums and ahs and puts it in ~300
I fold face up for maximum hubris punishment
Loose guy has the TT
Kid had the rockets.
They run it twice and chop. I wouldnt have hit.
After the hand the kid said to me ‘you know I would make that raise with all AK and AQ suited’. I was like ‘sure you would’ lol. Maybe in theory and maybe if you just had to click a button but throwing in 300 in real chips is different somehow especially if you’re out of your comfort zone.
The games I play in open 3.5x as standard. Hilariously 1/2 is usually the biggest game in the room so you will get exploited if you consistently open larger. Obviously if there are no decent regs in the game I’ll go to 10 or 12 but in most lineups you’re asking to get 3 bet punished opening a normal range to that amount.
