Doesn’t HAVE to be the final, but I’d be surprised if two people want to put up $1.6 million each for the next round.

Hellmuth got destroyed. All is right with the world

0% chance hellmuth does.

That was a lot of fun when Hellmuth made his flush on the same river Koon made the nut straight, and it went check-check and Phil tried to not show first

Glitch in the matrix that it is J4o again

Any time you’ve got the chance to burn nearly half a million for what would be a mildly amusing joke, you’ve gotta take it.

Is the joke just that it’s the spare tire hand??

Oh right. The infamous J4 hand.

My memory is getting wiped fast

So no resolution on the cheating thing, right?

Doug Polk and Shaun Deeb suck example #249445

Rampage wins a tourney for a milly on his second bullet decides to do something nice for his backers on who only had action on the first bullet and Deeb and Polk criticize him for giving his own money away.

aka very very bad precedent for us for future action selling

It’s kind of the same argument people are having with sports books giving out refunds on props when something like Kyler Murray getting hurt happens.

Rampage was getting backlash for this before he even cashed in this tourney. He is paying these people off so he doesn’t get hated on. Pretty sure that’s what Deeb and Polk are saying

Rampage is on a crazy sun run, vlogging it all, he gets so much value out of paying this for the next however many years for fans backing him that I am honestly stunned someone like Doug doesn’t see that.

+1 Rampage’s primary income is from vlogging hes making close to mid 6 figures a year from YT the 50k or whatever he paid out will pay for itself in no time thru the increase in ad revenue/subscribers/fans he will get. It was a business decision as much as anything else.

Same thing a few sportsbooks are doing. Getting new suckers and keeping the current suckers happy. It’s bad precedent long term.
