The gift that keeps on giving …
You are saying you have no null hypothesis. There is no scenario that can’t be incorporated into your cheating narrative which means you are not building an evidentiary case. You are engaging in faith.
He had a fairly funny sock puppet incident playing up his DFS knowledge on 2p2 back in the day but grats to him fading the QBs and making bank on I assume was Pettis yesterday
when will wealthy white men catch a break in this country?
Lol wtf. This is all so odd. “Forever altered”.
It’s like I am watching a group of aliens who have a culture and psychology I have never seen before. I don’t understand how these people work at all.
He’s now down to “very likely cheated” … that’s basically the cliffs here
I only was able to get to the image on the article of him staring out forlornly into space and I got a fit of giggles and closed it for now
All of these people are reality TV show characters. HCL basically is a reality show. The key players involved have been on other reality TV shows. The whole thing is a circus of people who want fame and recognition, and viewed from that lens it makes more sense. They’re characters with no plot, but someone told them there’s a movie and they’re the lead.
He had fields at captain. I assume he left a ton of salary
This is the correct take and any actions on the stream should be looked at through this lens.
It’s less poker and more reality TV. Watch it accordingly.
I can say this for sure - I didn’t have any idea who Robbi was before, but I know a lot about her now without even wanting to.
What would be a situation where she’s cheating and would fold 22 otb? It really seems highly unlikely.
this seems really relevant in that la times article:
High-stakes poker home games are notoriously rife with cheating and illicit activities, and Adelstein said he had a “really, really bad vibe” throughout the night. He believed the dealer was setting the deck in collusion with four players at the table, a suspicion that was heightened when his second-nut flush was beaten by the nut flush — the best possible five suited cards in a given hand. It’s a scenario that happens, “but quite rarely,” Adelstein said.
Having lost all his money, Adelstein left. But the incident rattled him and he soon got in touch with the host of the game, who offered to meet at Q’s Billiard Room in West Los Angeles. There, Adelstein said, he laid out his suspicions about the intricacies of the operation to the host and a business partner, and said he would go public with what happened.
“They offered me a deal where they would refund me my money in exchange for my silence,” he said. “And then they paid me in six installments, once a month, for a six-month period.”
seems like he has a history of suspecting cheating with zero proof (lol @ flush over flush being extremely rare especially with his vpip and style) and then demanding/extorting payment back for his “suspicions.”
LOL at this guy. I wasn’t leaning scumbag til now. pure scumbag. he aint ever giving that money back no matter what. he thinks it happened so it did.
I like how he kept playing despite his strong suspicions. Stable genius move there.
So he believes he gets cheated, demands the money back, but doesn’t tell anybody that the game is crooked.
Seems like an upstanding poker citizen.
What a douche

I’m definitely in the camp that everyone involved sucks.
Just be glad it was Phil Ivey and not Phil Hellmuth at the table otherwise he’d also be in there milking this thing.
iveys a fuckin legend and way too smart to play in a crooked game
Is anyone not in this camp?
