The one thing I will say in support of this is that we have no idea how often this happens in live games that aren’t streamed, because the loser will usually end up mucking.

She has handled it after the fact very poorly. Her puffery is just dumb and hurts her case significantly.
That’s not inconsistent though. She soul read him for a bluff, but still doesn’t realize that J high is a terrible bluff catcher.
I can also see her just being super defensive right now with everyone calling her either a cheater or the dumbest player ever.
Agree but she could have simply said she is still learning poker and made an odd play that worked out. It would have diffused the situation so much.

I just watched it and may have missed it but he never says he is 50/50 does he? He basically says over an over he doesn’t see any evidence of cheating. He does says “he is in the middle” at one point. In fact he says he just paid her back $500 she mistakenly paid him in a hand. Odd thing to do if you think you have played with a cheater for several sessions no?
A week ago Keating made a bad punt, albeit with a better hand (ran 77 into a big pair PF for a ton, think it was a bigger pot than this one)
When asked “how many times do you want to run it?” His response was “until I hit a 7 I guess.”
Just the right attitude you want from a whale.

He says he’s shifted from < 10% she cheated to > 40% she cheated. If what he heard about no random seat draw and the seat order being set is true, that adds to the suspicion a ton. (Edit: I went back and checked the video and the seat draw doesn’t look suspicious, so there doesn’t seem to be a “there” there.)
I would like confirmation on the seat draw. I’ve heard multiple times on stream that players always draw for seats.
He’s just wrong on point 3. The seat draw was captured on camera. Berkey did a bit on it where he was trying to show that Luis (the floorman that is Rip’s friend) did a sloppy mix and directed Rip and Robbi to their cards, but eventually realized it was too much of a tinfoil theory even for him.
Like a minute of research would show that this is just a completely made up conspiracy theory (here’s Robbi literally drawing a card for her seat). Of course, once it’s debunked, people will just say it didn’t matter and shift to some new random nugget that proves the cheating. (not an attack on you but the people doing an “investigation” or offering their expert opinion on twitter without bothering to confirm the facts).

Yeah I just went and looked and I don’t see anything there. I’d file that under something to be revisited from different angles if the investigation turns up anything that relates to specific seats.
This is often how poker cheaters are caught, though. It’s usually a crowd sourced effort that explores a lot of crazy theories.
