Poker News and Live Streams - HU4LOLLZ

Would love to hear these stories to defend against whatever methods they were using if I ever see it.

the more “complex” one was using marked cards and contact lenses.

these are pathetically obvious tells, and they are sadly obvious yet they took me for 5 figures

  1. the game works with 2 dealers who change every 30 minutes. they played extremely tight during one of the dealers and very loose during the other
  2. they sat on opposite sides of the table and looked constantly at every card the dealer dealt. as in they tracked the cards during the deal not ever looking at the players.
  3. their eyes were red as fuck
  4. they always tried to look directly at my cards
  5. when the game broke they took off with the deck of cards

I later learnt that the dealer was in deep debt and they forced him to do it.

these are underground games so no legal action is every possible.

I suppose I could buy that she misread her hand on the turn when she min raised, then she decided to call, rechecked and realized she didn’t have a pair, then short circuited and called anyway because fuck him, then was embarrassed and kept changing her story. Or she thought he only had front door straight flush draws when he jammed, and she blocks the big ones, but she never said that.

Like I’m not 100% she cheated but it seems way more likely to me given her behavior and evolving story and the hand.

The dealer snuck the deck in for them, I take it? Regarding #3, bloodshot or like a red tint from the lenses? I didn’t know that was something to look for.

I had one situation I was suspicious about and never proved either way. I had a pro in a home game make a serious of very out of character plays against me (we’ve got many hours together in casinos), all which were correct, and a dealer had sloppy technique that could have flashed him cards on the pitch.

I was still winning 12bb/hr so I kept playing, but I had won significantly more in an iteration of the game that was not in the same home.

I watched for #2 on your list, but couldn’t tell definitively.

I’ve also had suspicions in casinos once or twice where one opponent plays wild, unorthodox, and always wins over a long sample. But it was impossible to figure out how so I chalked it up to aggrofish on a long term heater.

Even in a casino I’ve never heard of anyone being caught and charged, only kicked out. It’s one of the shitty things, there’s never really a downside risk for cheats. Nothing ended up actually happening to Postle, right?

each dealer carries one deck. they gave him the deck and ‘forced’ him to deal with that one. when the game broke they took the deck with them. as in we couldn’t find a red deck in the place. I was later told that the only way to get my money back is if I had the deck to prove it and went to an underworld arbitrator but was advised heavily against it.

it was red because the lenses were clearly bothering their eyes. at the time i thought they just a bit druggy (they weren’t exactly your backpack pro)

the most important thing when playing in underground games is to keep an eye on the dealers mechanics and deck. Make sure they spread the deck when they first sit down. the easiest way to cheat is to fix the deck on the first deal sitting down (cause they had 30 minutes to do so).

eta - this is what happened to me the first time i was cheated. and i was too dumb to figure out i keep losing huge pots in a shady game on the first hand of a new dealer.

This is the way cops think about suspects whose stories change in the slightest or don’t 100% match up to know details or who act in any way nervous in the presence of cops.

Tom Dwan on Joey’s youtube shit now if anyone interested

at the end of the day she still doesnt owe anyone an explanation. when zero wrongdoing is found, all the people going hard since hour 0 of this will just go “well we had to be sure because something something mike postle.”

well how about just not making accusations with zero evidence? like, his entire thing was “I think she cheated.” so we have to do this every time some pro loses a hand and gets mad and thinks they were cheated? yeesh

I’ve heard several people using the fact that garrett thinks she cheated as evidence in and of itself. ok, if we’re going down that road, ivey doesnt think she cheated, therefore she didnt.

fyi I don’t think it’s zero and not saying cheating shouldnt be investigated but not in the manner in which it happened and honestly is still happening - this is so obviously a fish. she looks, talks, thinks, and acts like a fish - but all of this stuff requires her not to be.

So we’re pausing the streams until we can figure out what the hell is going on, right? RIGHT??

And that last sentence is as subtle as a cowbell. If they find no evidence of wrongdoing, they’re going to leave it up to the bully (who just happens to be their biggest draw) to decide whether or not to pay out. Nice

i’m pretty sure they are not very pleased with garrett right now

I suspect you’re right, but what’s the purpose of the last sentence? Are they seriously trying to distance themselves from Robbi paying him back when it was production who asked her to step away from the table for a “talk” with Ryan and Garrett after the hand? What were they discussing? Drink orders?

i think they’re trying to distance themselves from garrett. i suspect that they are going to have to fight back against his allegation at some point and the money transfer is part of what they’ll have to attack

does a single person at that table other than him think she was cheating?

legally this has to be a complete mess if it ends up in court for hustler no matter what she did

LA casinos just suck lol. i play at commerce. sleezehole, but the games are good. never been to hustler but i’d expect the same.

Right. Gl to Hustler trying to separate themselves from Garrett considering how that meeting went down after the hand (as been reported).

i cant even believe people are able to side with garrett at all, even if he was 100% right taking the money back was wrong, like even if everything was correct it’s STILL RATHOLING

How is it ratholing? She didnt pay him off her stack

How do they know her legs aren’t moving? You can barely see one of her thighs. This is just super absurd. Also there is no way a vibrating device that is going to make the chair shake that much is not going to be heard by someone else. “Rhythmic vibrating?” Are you some kind of expert on how vibrating devices interact with chairs and peoples thighs? I know I’m not, but, I’ve at least seen vibrating devices like the things they give you at restaurants vibrate on top of a table and felt them jn my hand. There’s no way they shake a chair like that, much less do it silently. You’re being absurd in your efforts to find cheating, man.

Poker is better off if she is absolved of cheating and rec players get it in their heads that one of the goals of poker is to soul-read good players and own them with insane hero calls.

This is another good point, according to Cuse’s theory, the phone is in her side pocket, so it would have to be vibrating so violently that it would be shaking the chair through her thigh.
