I mean Garrett should absolutely give the money back if there’s no proof of cheating. Getting upset about the hand is one thing, pressuring someone to give you 120k back is another.
I can’t relate at all to losing your mind in that spot. What’s it like? I don’t think I could suppress my laughter if someone acted like that.

This stream regularly attracts players with that level of poker cluelessness.
Because if you were going to cheat, this is like the worst possible spot to do it in.
I feel like the most obvious explanation is that she misread her hand (or the board) and didn’t want to admit it at first, so tried to make shit up in an attempt to sound smart.

She was embarrassed and said a bunch of nonsense. Then berated and taken aside away from everyone else and berated more and probably accused of cheating and she gave the money back.

She looked back at her hand after Garrett shoved and before calling. And after calling, she answered a direct question where she said she didn’t have a 3.
A misread is a reasonable explanation in most cases, but don’t think that’s what happened here.

Her explanation sounds like Matt Damon explaining how he sat down with 10 BBs and outplayed Johnny Chan. There is no cheating or anything fishy going on - just someone who is getting lessons from high level players but absorbing none of it.
