I don’t think he’s a bad guy, just a whiny crybaby
Yeah this is what will happen
If he comes out tomorrow with a mea culpa and just says he lost his mind bc he thought he was cheated and gives her the money he gets a pass I guess but yeah he needs to be clear that he just had a meltdown and it was inexcusable to bully her. Tbh if anyone in poker can own something like this it’s him.
I’ve also had times where I’ve been the whiny crybaby so I’m not going to pass too much judgement, just glad it wasn’t on live stream. But the asking for the money back is pretty extra.
If some dude in production is helping a player cheat, it’s going to be a consistent winner.
lolol “you’re 5k short” - Garrett
Garrett is Satan
Props to the baby who can whiny their way back 120k. It might cost him way more than that in the long run tho.
Don’t believe her “misread” story. Not only did she not offer that as a reason immediately, but she said she didn’t have a 3 at some point during the hand. She’s just bad and used “blocker” logic to mental gymnastic her way into a call.
The production folks aren’t above making poor decisions. For example, Nick Vertucci wore a Lions Not Sheep shirt unironically on stream before.
Yea she actively looked at her hand during the hand. I don’t think she misread it at all.
Not so sure about that. Perhaps some other players have something else to offer, or a bigger cut.
i’m just watching this on stream and when garrett comes back ryu goes “are you okay” with the most sincere tone ever. I love that guy.
Wow I just wasted 5 minutes scrolling up to find out you guys aren’t talking about Brad Garrett
Garrett came back?! Did he give the money back? Was she still at the table? So many questions.
He came back to pack up his chips. He didn’t give any money back. She wasn’t at the table when he was there but eventually came back.

i think he’ll give the money back and i can relate for losing your mind there. especially when she kept saying nonsensical stuff. but i will put the odds of her cheating at 1%
i’m starting to lean into not misreading her hand but simply she forgot how poker works. like she came in the game determined to not let garrett bluff her and then she got too confused at how to do that
Yep. In the moment, the immediate aftermath, she kept saying it didn’t matter if G had ace high, all she wanted to do was catch his bluff. She kept looking at her hand before calling, apparently, making the whole J3 thing seem ex post facto.
