Manchin and Tester aren’t even up until 2024, and they’re going to get absolutely nuked from orbit that year anyway with Trump on the ballot. I’m guessing the real problem is that show votes eat up floor time that they want to use for some other pointless bullshit, and god forbid they work more than 4 days a week or skip their many many weeks off to get more of it. Fucking useless. They just want to get back in the minority as quickly as possible so they can use McConnell as a shield for not doing anything. Actually having power is terrible for them.
