My kid just had a “code red” drill at school. Bet that was fun, especially when he’s stressed out about the end of the quarter and his Bar Mitzvah in two days.

There’s a pack of wild turkeys roaming around my neighborhood, I don’t know what the hell they’re up to but I’m terrified. I now know what deplorables feel like when they see black teenagers in their neighborhood. I DON’T KNOW WHAT’S HAPPENING BUT I DON’T LIKE IT!

An argument for decriminalizing gun possession in public from the left.
All sorts of laws are enforced in all manner of selectively racist ways to the point that being black in the wrong part of town is basically a crime in this country. I don’t necessarily know what the punishment for carrying or owning an unlicensed firearm is, but I can pretty much guarantee it would be a lot less for me than it would be for an inner city black man. The issue is not unique to guns though.
