The DoD has called the new objects unidentified and doesn’t know where they came from. They’re not even sure they are balloons.

What if you keep sending over relatively harmless balloons until people get bored and complacent about them, then…boom, send over something that’s not harmless?

Better run this past the National Weather Service.

What’s the better right-wing conspiracy theory, that these balloons will be used to convey the next pandemic bioweapon or that this is a false flag operation to introduce a fake pandemic so the federal government can introduce the next killer vaccine?

Really feels like we should be past the “I don’t know what this thing is” stage of our evolution. Like, just look at it. How hard can it be?

think again, amigo

Pretty hard. For the one in Alaska, it could be outside of helicopter range or bad weather could hinder collecting the debris.

This is the first time I’ve seen the english subs of the german version. I dont know why, but I was surprised how different it was to the English version.

Also. This cover is also a banger.

My leading theory about this at the moment is that the US and its allies are trying to turn China into a more threatening country in the public consciousness, for whatever reason. Like I’m not sure it’s standard to be immediately holding press conferences to brief everyone about military operations to shoot down random objects when they don’t even know what they are. Got a bit of a weird vibe about it. Normally states are secretive about this kind of thing. My thinking is very much subject to change if new shit comes to light, though.

Or this.

That makes some sense, I guess.

I’m not sure what to make of it. The whole response is just odd.

Here’s the tweets from Trudeau earlier:

Is there some kind of military project funding that’s up for a vote soon? This all seems very stupid
