7bb. With the break coming up, after which I will have about 4bb, I ship it blind from the SB, who snaps with 99. I have 52o. Flop is Q52. Turn is a Q. River 5. I survive and will have 10bb close to the money.

Those prices seem pretty high, since for many of the ryes and bourbons the price for the shot is about 1/3 the price of a retail fifth.
I think those prices are about 2/3 to 3/4 of what you would pay at a place like Whiskey Down at MGM Grand. There’s a premium for being in a fine dining place in a casino but there’s a discount for not being on the Strip.

Lol, a guy in a $200 mix tournament challenged another player for a heads-up 25k HORSE. Player doing the challenging has a Hendon Mob of around $120k. The guy he is challenging is a quiet Canadian who has a Hendon Mob of around $120k in just the HORSE tournaments he’s played plus more in other games.
I used to think Hendon mob earnings meant something until I realized cash players are roughly 500x better at poker

Pretty frustrating to have AA643 in stud 8 vs a player drawing to an eight with a gutterball after calling four bets on fourth and someone with A7522 and lose to the first player going heart-heart for a flush and the second player making a better low.
My dad’s surgery got postponed. Contemplating extending my trip a couple of days.
