100%. I’ve seen it many times and it never gets old. Surprisingly funny too, but not in a campy way, it’s very smart.
It’s great fun, but I’ve never seen you post about horror/slasher movies. If you have any appetite for those then you should give it a go. If you don’t then that would be another convo.
It’s not high art but it’s quite enjoyable for what it is.

The opening 15 minutes I might put into the high art category. Its certainly one of the best openings to a movie ever.

Yeah im not saying 1991 is weak or anything, but how many people, even those who like metallica regularly go back and listen to their ST? And I say that as someone who has listened to Load front to back this year.

Scary Movie is horrendous. After watching that one and later watching Not Another Teen Movie (even quite a bit worse), I was properly clued in on the fact that all of those movies should just be ignored.

Thoughts on Hot Shots!, Top Secret! and Airplane! ?
Airplane is an all-timer. Top Secret is alright. Haven’t seen Hot Shots.
Naked Gun is great. Obviously that kind of parody comedy can be excellent, but when it misses it really misses.

Hot shots is closer in quality to airplane or Naked Gun than Top Secret. Youd probably like it.
Part Duex is also pretty good
