I abstain. Blocked him after the first few posts I saw and haven’t regretted it since.
As much as I hate saying ban, seeing someone argue so dishonestly isn’t helping the community or the readability.
It’s has to be someone else I think, I didn’t see that option available when I suspended his account for 24 hours.
Had him on ignore but after reviewing the body of work, and considering his 2+2 history, easiest IP permaban ever.
Yeah
Abstain. Pretty surprised that it’s as lopsided as it is, tbh.
I can’t believe the opposition I got when I brought this up weeks ago. He’s the all time worst poster on 2p2 and brings nothing of value to this forum.
+1
He got banned like 12 times from SE, which was incredibly lenient. The dude just plain makes the internet worse.
As long as Inso and fuckmuffin can’t be banned, I can’t see how anyone else should be.
I’m voting against solely because I feel bans are futile and if he really wants to come back, he will. The solution lies in either collectively shunning him until he gets bored or maybe implementing a hellban, though if he suspects the hellban, it’ll be the same as an actual ban and he’ll circumvent if he feels like it.
He’s an obnoxious little shit and also alarmingly dumb, and I’m not voting against the ban on some principle, I just think bans mostly don’t work and offer the illusion of a solution.
inso0 is bad, triceratops and anachronistic are worse.
As a compromise, how about a containment thread. He can go nuts and anyone who wants to engage him can do it there.
The difference is ins0 actually believes the nonsense he posts. Raids is a troll, his only objective is to trigger people.
Fuck containment threads. Some douchebag gets his own thread while posters who deserve one don’t? Honestly, containment threads set a bad precedent.
Either boot them or let them stay. The staff has to show some conviction.
What does this mean? Can’t anyone voluntarily start their own thread and post what they want in them?
Yes
