to claim that money is an indicator of morality is plain wrong.

I did not make that claim. Instead I listed examples of activities that are legal (and in my view bad), that poor people literally can’t do. Example: bankroll for-profit mass incarceration.

I was pushing back on simp’s claim that the poor are just as bad as the rich. Yet, when we consider all the nefarious, yet legal, activities that the rich profit off of on a daily basis, his claim is easily proven false.

No. I’m pointing out how it’s funny that people make The Terror out to be incredibly horrible (iirc about 10000 people died - maybe up to 40000) when other stuff right around it was so much worse. Mark Twain compares it to the previous regime when he says there were two reigns of terror. I’m comparing it to what followed - The Napoleonic Wars - which killed 8 million people (estimates vary and go as low as 3 million or so).
