I’m queasy on allowing calls for assassination, for liability reasons more than anything, but maybe that’s more of a delete the post and give a warning sort of deal.

I think calls for assassination are timeout worthy. It’s not worth the risk to this community, and that is severe enough that people should face stronger consequences than just a hidden post.

Yes Pete is a corrupt politician that will do anything for power. Yes that includes him spitting on the faces of his supporters by dropping out the day before Super Tuesday. Yes he helped facilitate the deaths of many people in Afghanistan. Yes he was a racist mayor. Yes he does look like a rat. Yes he does change the pronunciation of his last name in a desperate attempt for more support. Yes he and his team cheated in Iowa. Yes it’s not really progressive to vote for someone just because they’re gay when they shit on actual progressive policies.
All of the above is 100% true.
But we don’t need it in every thread.

The problem was that a) one particular mod is too quick to take unilateral action and b) people were posting the same content into both threads simultaneously.

I can deal with this criticism. Would like to note that skydiver is a massive hypocrite who whines about me not moving on from the primary when she posts “could have had Pete” off topic posts in every single thread. A lot of my recents have just been responding to similar off topic propaganda from a campaign staffer.
Cant count the number of “well actually guys Pete said this” posts she has made since that dumb rant about how Pete is a restaurant we need to move on from
The Dem primary was a corrupt and rigged process that saw Pete and Warren reap personal rewards for screwing over the people. Current propagandists for these people should be made to feel uncomfortable.
