Master3004's Upbeat Walrus - Reveal!

Well I’m glad that round’s over. The threat is worse than the execution.

I mean, “The history of maple syrup” wikipedia link you included was a bit overkill, but I appreciate the effort.

Weeeeeeee.

The Agnostic Front pick would have made the top 2 for me. Excellent choice LC. If I had thought about it some more I may have gone w this:

I am selfish
I am wrong
I am right
I swear I’m right
Swear I knew it all along
And I am flawed
But I am cleaning up so well
I am seeing in me now the things you swore you saw yourself

Corny as hell but Emo is and underappreciated genre

Wait, was this the right version? @Twist submitted the remix? Original is better, imo.

There are reasons, but no excuses, for my submission for the last round.

“And now behold Jonah taken up as an anchor and dropped into the sea; when instantly an oily calmness floats out from the east, and the sea is still, as Jonah carries down the gale with him, leaving smooth water behind. He goes down in the whirling heart of such a masterless commotion that he scarce heeds the moment when he drops seething into the yawning jaws awaiting him; and the whale shoots-to all his ivory teeth, like so many white bolts, upon his prison. Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord out of the fish’s belly. But observe his prayer, and learn a weighty lesson. For sinful as he is, Jonah does not weep and wail for direct deliverance. He feels that his dreadful punishment is just. He leaves all his deliverance to God, contenting himself with this, that spite of all his pains and pangs, he will still look towards His holy temple. And here, shipmates, is true and faithful repentance; not clamorous for pardon, but grateful for punishment. And how pleasing to God was this conduct in Jonah, is shown in the eventual deliverance of him from the sea and the whale. Shipmates, I do not place Jonah before you to be copied for his sin but I do place him before you as a model for repentance. Sin not; but if you do, take heed to repent of it like Jonah.

I like both tbh but chose the remix because I thought it more upbeat.

Hey, ya’ll remember how i said this next category would be less fun than the previous?

Yeah, its worse than that.

A lot worse.

Like, im having trouble determining a podium, let alone a winner.

There is nothing Melt Banana worthy, but you all almost universly have determined that the only people who make comedy music are strange western europeans with terrible accents.

Reveal to come later. I must sufficiently drink to reveal this category.

Name just one.

A comedy song category is bound to contain lame music.

Yeah, I find my song funny but as music it’s nothing much at all.

I just expected a lot of Weird Al Yankovich.

I’m getting a weird vibe that the only winning move is not to play!

Before you get offended, give the entire song a listen.

I think everyone did…so everyone probably explicitly avoided Weird Al songs.

…and that’s how we got 15 Lonely Island songs.
