Major League Baseball (Part 2)

a Met podcast compared his situation to when Durant tore his Achilles and the Nets signed him for huge money even though he sat out a year or whatever it was. seems analogous. will be interesting to see what he gets

I read Heyman say it’s still going to be the biggest contract in MLB history, but I think I also saw someone post like 3-5 year deals at 60 mill per. Obv if he’s pitching 60 is more than worth it, if he’s not though, that seems insane. Also rip if the Mets get him, he’s going to play like 80 games and die; they should still go after him though, the PR alone will be worth it.

Mariners with a share of first in the AL West. I would have bet fat stacks against this happening at all this year not very long ago.

Rangers bullpen is in shambles. Royals vs mariners games have been something else. Super fun to watch games.

As a Mariners fan…I can’t imagine a more painful set of games where we’ve won 4 out of 5. Hoping for something tomorrow where my nerves aren’t frayed into nothingness by the end of the game.

Last 10 games for the mariners are 7 vs rangers and 3 vs Houston. The stress of those games will be unbearable.

Giants remembered who they are.

Lmaoooo at that “throw” to the cutoff man.

Yeah, this has been an abysmal August. Tonight they get to get humiliated in prime time

I mean, they coulda just paid Mookie.

thankfully not serious but this is professional baseball–catcher for some inexplicable reason throws to first, pitcher for some reason sprints toward third and got drilled in the head

one more error and it’s pure benny hill and you would’ve thought the pirates did it if I just wrote the play out.

Fake Jomboy is meh…in addition to mispronouncing “McNeil,” he can’t fathom that the pitcher is trying to get over to back up the throw to 3rd.

well he was a major league second baseman very briefly spent most of his time in AAA or injured, coaches kids now

pitcher is too late to backup any throw anywhere regardless and he’s in the throwing lane, duck not sprint.

Best seats I’ve ever had, got a single for $90 pregame somehow. Go Astros
