Anything that isn’t direct confrontation is basically stalking. I’d start by googling her phone number.

I told them I was laying down watching a movie and they said me too and sent me a picture.

Assuming it’s a scammer, where do you think they get their photos? Reverse Google image turned up nothing. I’ve done this for every photo they sent including random ass photos of her groceries and her fridge that she sent about her isolating

One of my scammers sent me this picture

Tinder is an abomination. Nearly every woman is advertising their IG, a scammer, or a flake.

Honestly, most online dating is a sinkhole.

Got a date with a girl I met on Bumble tomorrow. A 30-year old lawyer with average looks by my standards. About as nerdy as I am. That’s good for me!

I try to jump to asking a person out as quickly as possible. In this case, it had to be super-fast because I’ll be in the hospital for neurological tests from Sunday to Thursday (no electronics for me :( ). Figured she’d say no but didn’t. None of this verifying stuff for me.

Very similar but not a complete proof. I’ve watched enough Korean movies to know there’s as much cliched romantic imagery in Asian cultures as there is in Hollywood. Like I don’t know if I’ve ever watched one where someone wasn’t getting a piggy-back ride.

Felt so bad for my Chinese undergrad students having to do that to their girlfriends.

I’d rather be celibate than treated like a horse.

Ha. Gotta show you’re a stud.

That could just be a poorly aligned projector, although someone with enough $$ for that setup would usually want it done right. Or is that an actual TV and not just a screen on the wall?

Honestly I’m not trying to date lol. Because of covid just looking to flirt with cute girls or hook up with people I don’t know.

For dating there are a ton of girls at the festival things I go to. I just can’t to go to any right now

It looks like a public space. Movie night at the student union or something.

Ask for an elbow pic so we can critique their pointiness.

To be clear I think it’s like 90% this isn’t real I’m just shocked at the length they would go too. Also they seem pretty intelligent.

I think way less attractive person who is just super lonely is still very live too.

Still though where are they getting these pictures? Even if they do a bad Photoshop shouldn’t reverse image get the original?

Couldn‘t they actually take the pictures themselves?

That’s a pretty nice set up for someone desperate enough to scam off tinder.

At what point is the guy expected to send a dick pic in this sort of relationship?

Pretty sure you just send that first if you want them to respond.

You can send one later of you holding your own dick since that’s all that is coming anyways.

One doesn’t have to be desperate to become a scammer. It could just be an easy way to make a living.

I don’t know that’s what throws me about this scam. Sounds like they’re investing weeks into each scam. And while I was responding she was texting me A LOT.

Can it really be that profitable to live well of like that?

Honestly once it’s confirmed a scammer I’m going to offer them like 10 bucks to answer some questions because I’m really curious about a lot of this. Definitely not your normal scam
