The cops literally fucking went car to car yesterday politely asking people to leave. When they didnât they decided to âregroupâ and find another strategy.

News reports say the Cons are booting OâToole. I think OâToole sucks but thereâs a risk they go full open fascism now. With Canadaâs two left parties they have a structure advantage. Not good times ahead.

Stephen Harper was PM for a decade. If thereâs one thing Liberals can be relied on for, itâs their capacity to forget that they donât get to rule Canada forever.
Skippy (Poilievre) is fundamentally unlikeable, I donât see how anyone but his base would vote Conservative if he was in charge. I would call him the Ted Cruz of Canada if Cruz wasnât actually from Canada.
Harper wasnât very likeable either (although the one time I met him in person he was actually pretty nice, so I guess he could turn it on when he wanted to).
