It seems like the Conservatives should just wait out the inevitable botch job on the distribution of the vaccine, then run on that. Canadians have been trained to think that when they need health care the ghost of Tommy Douglas will magically appear and provide then elite service immediately at no cost. There is going to be mass outrage about vaccine wait times, needing to go for more than one shot, etc. The government and the general population are in no way ready for this.
Iâve already seen the outrage because weâre not at the front of the line for vaccines. The health minister must be sitting on her ass doing nothing!! Somehow we are supposed to just cut in line ahead of the countries manufacturing the vaccines.
Conservatives wonât be pleased no matter what the outcome is. Just going to have a lot of bad faith complaining and arguments.

Its not just conservatives though. 90%+ of Canadians just expect health care to, like , happen. If thereâs a vaccine why canât my doctor or Shopperâs just give it me, duh. Healthcare Is Free In Canada. There is going to be anger at whatever government is in power during the implementation of a vaccine. The Conservatives would be stupid to do anything other than let the Liberals hang themselves on that. OâToole has almost no charisma so trying to jump in now is nuts.

A few years back for work, came out to gather requirements for a project with two utility companies. Think I spent all of 2 days there. Nice town, had enough free time to go to a pub, donât remember the name, and get a #YYT T-shirt at one of the tourist stores.
