Look, this guy (Donziger) may well be a bad guy but the facts here are absolutely bonkers:

This is a long read, but basically a scummy lawyer cost his client $700 million by taking notes on a securities fraud fucking conspiracy. Also Matt Levine is a great writer.

That lawyer never watched any tv shows or movies.
I can’t accept probation with having to register on the sexual offender list. Those things should not be possible without also prison time.
But at least she prayed over it. God

But we don’t want to to ruin this young man’s whole life over one little mistake. Or four little mistakes.
