She first won her seat by defeating a DSA guy in the primary.

Ultra blue and progressive are not at all the same thing.
Thatās another structural hurdle progressives have that the Tea Party didnāt. 25% of the country might be progressive, but there arenāt many districts where most people would prefer AOC to Biden. The right has rural territories where you can get 50% of the vote just by being the most extreme right wing choice.

Sure, but in the 2020 primary, Bernie won her district and Biden only barely edged out Warren for 2nd.
Iām not saying they should get a leftist firebrand, but it seems like there should be room for a competent primary from the left.

And every person I know has said their USPS mail has been a complete shitshow this year. People donāt follow politics, all they will know is the USPS went to shit under Biden.
Got to protect those norms though, Republicans will certainly honor them when they control all three branches for the next 10+ years.
