The fact arguably the best Dem politician of our lifetimes doesn’t understand that politics isn’t about decorum and getting along is a perfect explanation of how we are where we are.
Obama and all other politicians in the back pockets of the banks and billionaires will never “understand” the reality of politics some day.
We should see clearly that they are complicit in the tightening of the vice like grip that oligarchs have on our lives; for the same reasons that we don’t trust Bernie Madoff’s accountant to uncover his ponzi scheme, and why Robert DeNiro fired his idiot employee in Casino . If Obama is anything he is a believer in the “West Wing” world of politics where everyone plays nice. I was putting the quote in that context in that he thinks protesting a president as they leave office isn’t playing nice.
