It makes me so upset that those emails actually work.
ARGH.
We know that the lights in the office won’t turn off if we don’t send $5 today, but god dammit, of every fundraising tactic out there, these emails are the type that works best and I cannot stand it. Thank goodness the campaign i’m on now doesn’t send them.
The Dems raised $80 million after the Dobbs decision came out. All because of emails like this. ARGH.
I especially hate them because even though they are done by a consulting firm we have no control over, guess who gets the brunt of voter anger? Yeah…the staff on the ground. ugh.

Same reason negging works.
I dunno, they work to make me unsubscribe and not want to volunteer for those campaigns. Probably like most things in America: maximize the up front money and deal with the rest later.

I assume it’s “real” but to be fair it will be a Pelosi PAC I assume and so perforce Pelosi has no control over what they do.

there is no plan other than “you are contractually obligated to vote for us no matter what because reasons”
been a religious voter and volunteer since i could vote at 18 and I came to the decision this week that I’d be sitting out forever now. don’t care if it makes me a shit person or whatever anymore. I can’t in good conscience vote for ANY of these people anymore, even the “good” ones seem completely on it.
there’s probably a lot out there like me, hopefully not, better people than me are gonna have to salvage this dumpster fire
