Good level dude, but now let’s put the joking aside.
I picked just two, but the first half of their catalogue up to Automatic for the People is teeming with dozens of amazing songs.

It’s hard for me to answer this. Not because I can’t choose, but because I was spoiled and grew up listening to one of the most progressive alt-rock stations in the country, and they played B-sides as often as they played hits…so what might be a 1-hit wonder to the mainstream, I knew and loved several singles from that act. So is this thread for our opinion of their best song, or the song that’s most iconic?
I’ll give it a go…and you guys might be like “who the fuck is she talking about”

The Clash - London Calling (best) Rock the Casbah (Iconic)
Ramones - Blitzkreig Bop (both)

skydiver, you have some cool tastes in music girl
edit: yeah Find The River is beautiful. I still have I Remember California as their best closing song though.
thanks to this. RIP:
They’re playing Welcome to the Jungle at the gym. I’d like to change my answer
HONEY WE KNOW THE NAMES
I was about to post How Soon Is Now when you posted this.
Suedehead is not a Smiths song though (it’s solo Morrissey).
I Wanna Be Sedated is slightly better.
Now they’re playing Shook Me All Night Long - but it think it wins co-iconic with Back in Black
omg you’re like the only other person i’ve ever “met” that knows this song. it’s so fucking amazing.
Aaaaand now they’re playing We Will Rock You - just going straight for the jugular.
oof, yeah. tbh, i’m not the hugest smiths/moz fan and they all run together for me
How Soon is Now for me for the Smiths.
And now we got Simple Man at the gym.
But for Skynyrd it’s gotta be Freebird. Maybe the most iconic of iconic songs.
