I know there are a lot of other things going on right now but I was looking for information on senate and house democrats getting primaried from the left similar to how AOC got her seat. Is this happening at all and are any of them successful?

Where does this go? Chuck Schumer is fucking WORTHLESS

Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) said Thursday that former defense secretary Jim Mattis’s criticism of President Trump for trying to deliberately divide Americans was “right on the money” and cited another Republican chief executive — George W. Bush — as an example of appropriate leadership.

As COVID restrictions are easing in my state, I was able to get away for a trip to the Flinders Ranges, about 5 hours’ drive north of Adelaide, in the state’s mid north. My girlfriend and I climbed St. Mary’s Peak, the highest mountain in the range. It’s a long walk (22km/13.5mi) and a tough climb in parts, rock scrambling on all fours. The peak is part of Wilpena Pound, a natural amphitheatre of mountains (“pound” is an old word for a prison, early settlers thought that’s what it resembled).

Pic facing outside the Pound:

(Yes, it is winter here). You can’t really see the shape of the Pound there, here’s a wider shot taken from a plane:

So Flinders the city has nothing to do with the Flinders range? Just maybe named after the same person?

I feel you, mate. I just walked all the way upstairs to do a bong hit.

The aerial view pic was awesome!

There’s no Flinders city, but a number of things in Adelaide are named after him, a major hospital and university for starters. Matthew Flinders was an explorer who performed the second circumnavigation of Australia (the first by Abel Tasman, after whom Tasmania and the Tasman Sea, between Australia and NZ, are named). Flinders confirmed that Tasmania was an island and performed the first detailed charting of the coastline of the south of the continent, including South Australia in particular. The name “Australia” was also coined by Flinders.
