Ok, I guess Flinders is just a town. And a tiny one at that.
It’s kind of a long convoluted reason why I ask. We use a drug distribution warehouse we call “Flinders” for our work in Australia, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. And I was confused why it was in the middle of nowhere. I think I must have been looking at the Flinders range on a map. (But of course why there is a major warehouse in the town of Flinders with a population of less than 1000 is still a valid question.)
I’m supposed to go audit this place sometime soon, so I guess at that point I’ll figure out where it actually is.
There’s a container terminal named Flinders in Adelaide but I’d be skeptical you would use Adelaide as a hub city. Could be anything, company name or whatever. Like trying to locate something named “Columbus” or “Columbia” in the US without further information.
