Yea, once–I found out my uncle was a deceased Nigerian prince but had to wire a bit of money so they could arrange his will. The process was seamless, 10/10 would send again.

I yelled at a black bird today.
I was on a walk with my daughter around a man made pond this morning and I got attacked. All rsudden a bird started buzzing the tower (that means my head.) If you think those little 3lb fuckers are stealthy, you’re right. All the sudden, a hum and a flicker of wind on your head and you’ve been warned.
A warning is nice in human time. Bird time is different. You look down at your daughter after the first attack and decide to pick her up because it’s always safer in deeda’s arms. But during those 4 seconds that little fucking bird has decided to attack again. He strikes your head this time, albeit inflicting a wound on your ego more than your body. You almost drop your daughter bc you were scared of the unexpected bird attack. You get a better grip on her and walk backward away from the bird.
I yelled at the bird after the second attack. I said, “fuck you fucker,” after he had landed in a tree but was still within eyesight. I was ashamed.

In local election news that nobody cares about. Early results indicate that Baltimore has elected Sheila Dixon as mayor. Dixon was previously Mayor from 2007-2010, with a stellar record that included:
On January 9, 2009, Dixon was indicted on twelve felony and misdemeanor counts, including perjury, theft, and misconduct. The charges stem partly from incidents in which she allegedly misappropriated gift cards intended for the poor.[3] On December 1, 2009, the jury returned a “guilty” verdict on one misdemeanor count of fraudulent misappropriation and Dixon received probation provided she resign as mayor as part of a plea agreement, effective February 4, 2010.
She ran for mayor in 2016 and lost a close race to Catherine Pugh, who was also arrested while in office for stealing public funds.
If you want to know why Baltimore is such a disaster, this shit has a lot to do with it. Our leadership is, top to bottom, corrupt - and I have no expectation it will change any time soon.

So…the $65 billion (!) chicken market has been rigged with price fixing since 2012!
I routinely pay < $1/lb for chicken. They can carry on with the riggage imo.
They’re fixing prices to be higher, not lower.
