I know that big corporations get a lot of hate, but small businesses can be absolute psychos, too!

Maybe, but seems like lots of people are viewing it as credible:
Website allegedly created to shame the fiance:

I need turn-based, low-key games like LoWD that I can sit on the couch and play on my Mac. Do you have any good suggestions for that?
Zuck is legit evil, like supervillain where is the fucking guillotine evil
There are a bunch. Some require a decent PC though so it’s tough to suggest since I rarely play them.
Man, the Midwest is a surreal place. This thread is pretty great.

Can’t remember which thread the racist lady in Central Park was in but her company reminded me of something.
This has been a known area of organized crime in Toronto for a long time.
I just read that Chrome will be ending support for Adobe Flash in December 2020. Seems huge?
Not really? Flash is terribly out of date and very insecure. No serious website should still use it.
Ironic that it’s so insecure given that I am finding this out because I am submitting data for compliance testing to the Web site of the company that handles our 401k and it requires Flash plugin to submit the data
I think the problem with flash is that it allows the website to execute code on your computer. I don’t know if it makes the website more vulnerable to attacks.
Yeah the more I read on this the less of a big story this appears to be. The article it links you to from within Chrome looks to have been penned by someone from Adobe itself and their attitude almost seems to be, “Yeah, we know, it’s time.” It feels weird for them to be willing to let go of what was one of their flagship piece of software for so long. (So hey maybe take heed there Principal Financial?)
I know for a long time Chrome at least has had the default position of making you affirmatively choose to run it on each use, I’ve been experiencing that again here recently with this round of compliance testing. And personally the last couple of infections I’ve suffered on my own machines, ones which were so bad that I couldn’t solve them and had to delete partitions and start all over again, Flash was involved.
Oh well, it had a good run I guess, but there’s better stuff out there now.
Battle Brothers? Not sure how it compares to LoWD
I’ve been told I should try Through the Ages next.
It might take some work, but there’s a case that profits, certainly high profits, requires some kind of nefarious and probably somehow violent protection. I won’t @ Sabo here though.
